Trumps has added Filipinos to his list of threats to the USA. Not surprising because most of them have Spanish names, many are dark skinned and many are Muslims. No doubt, to Trump, they seem like Islamic Mexicans. The fact that most of them are Catholics and that they speak English rather than Spanish, Arabic or Farsi, doesn't really matter. Trouble is, Trump has francised a tower in the Philippine capital.

Tough luck on Robbie Antionio, MD of Century Properties, which bought the francise from Trump and found the money to build the tower (it seems Trump put up nothing except the name). Trump's contention that the Philippines is a terrorist nation is not going to encourage anyone to buy units in the yet to be completed tower. So, if any Filipino wants to kill Americans it is probably Robbie, but only one American – Trump.

One Philippine lawmaker has already put a resolution before the House to ban Trump from entering the country.

The account of the speech from the Washington Post:

At a rally in Portland, Maine, on Thursday afternoon, Trump included the Philippines on a list of countries he said had sent immigrants who had plotted to kill Americans, sometimes successfully. "We're letting people come in from terrorist nations that shouldn't be allowed because you can't vet them," he said. "There's no way of vetting them. You have no idea who they are. This could be the great Trojan horse of all time."

The account of the backlash from The Philippine Star:
A lawmaker has called on the House of Representatives to bar United States presidential candidate Donald Trump from entering the country for his recent remarks against the Philippines.

In his House Resolution No.43, Albay Rep. Jose "Joey" Salceda said he seeks to ban Trump from entering the country for being “inimical to the national interest.”  He said the Republican presidential candidate's recent tirade against immigrants, which included the Philippines among “terror nations” is unreasonable.
“Whereas, there is no feasible basis or reasonable justification to the wholesale labeling of Filipinos as coming from a 'terrorist state' or that they will be a Trojan horse,” Salceda said in his resolution.
The lawmaker said that as a major political party presidential candidate of the most powerful country in the world, Trump’s “remarks have had widespread dissemination, thus aggravating the shame it has already put Filipinos and Filipino Muslims, including Filipino migrants and overseas Filipino workers who this House and our society have recognized as modern heroes of our country.”
Salceda also said he is concerned that Trump’s pronouncement had demonstrated “negative, dysfunctionally nativist, aggressively adversarial attitude towards immigrants in the USA. where he aspires to be the leader.” He said the candidate’s attitude may affect the four million Filipinos in the US.
